  1. Social Networks- This is a social structure in which individuals are connected to specific type of interdependence such as common interest, financial exchange etc e.g. Facebook (student-student). 
  2. Email- A system which allows an individual to send and receive mail electronically e.g. Hotmail http://hotmail.com (teacher- parent).
  3. Blog- A web site that is updated by an individual with new content from time to time. www.blogger.com (teacher-student).
Collaborative Tools
  1. WikiThis allows individuals to add an update on the site from their personal browser. Wikipedia is a popular wiki. http://www.wikipedia.com.
  2. Hyper office- Hyper office is a collaborative tool that involves features such as project management, email, work spaces etc. http://www.hyperoffice.com/ 
  3. Liquid Planner- A liquid planner is a means of attending to several projects simultaneously. It affords its users maximum organizational benefits of groups and projects, and accommodates several participants in a group at one time. http://www.liquidplanner.com/
